Supervision

I have been a registered supervisor for CSTA for nearly 20 years and bring in experience and approaches from my clinical work and different modalities. I enjoy facilitating the move from student to practitioner and the process of watching therapists find their own unique way of working, something that feels right for them. In a session as well as verbal exploration we may use Gestalt chair work to elucidate what’s going on in the client / therapist dyad, drawing, visualisation and always the body sensation arising in the practitioner.

Moving Forward

Once the 8 mandatory sessions are completed in the first 2 years many practitioners opt to continue supervision for their own self care and that of their clients. There are also certain scenarios where CSTA require you seek supervision and this would be considered in the unlikely event of a complaint being brought forward by a client. See CSTA guidelines for supervision on CSTA website.

Specialist Clinical Supervision and Tutorials

I offer 1:1 or small group supervision around Mother and Baby work and am happy to offer tutorials on any area from the Foundation trainings or Anatomy where you feel there are gaps in your learning not covered in the Still Learning programme.

I have regular supervision and psychotherapy myself and undertake CPD so keep up to date with developments within the work and have contacts with teachers from different training bodies.

I will work on Zoom but far prefer face to face if possible, if you are long distance it can work well to do 2 hour sessions.
